Fan questions surrounding cryptic Instagram stories and call outs for a new lead singer finally put to bed as Waax announce fresh new single earlier today.
As promised, Punktuation has the hot-off-the-press news following on from our story a few weeks ago about Brisbane’s Waax.
It seems that the mystery generated by a series of cryptic Instagram posts searching for the band’s new lead singer has been solved! Since the news broke almost two weeks ago, videos from fans, muso pals and furry friends emerged in an attempt to ‘audition’ for the role. However, it seems that Waax frontwoman Maz DeVita herself is still on top, as the band unleash the news of their new single Most Hated Girl, set for release on September 1st – pushing aside any rumours of the band’s untimely demise.
