Aussie pop-punks take their latest EP ‘Is This What I Look Like’ out to the nation.
Following the release of their new EP is this what i look like? via UNFD last week, Sydney rising stars Yours Truly have today announced some special intimate performances this August, with three acoustic shows lined up to celebrate the new EP’s release.
Already scoring acclaim at home and abroad with the likes of Kerrang!, Distorted Sound, Wall Of Sound, Hysteria Magazine and Heavy Magazine, is this what i look like? is Yours Truly at their most raw and powerful; a collection of empathy, alt-rock and pop-punk brilliance from a group continually on the rise and eternally unafraid to evolve.
Following a whirlwind 2022 to date, including not just the EP’s recent release but also appearances at UNIFY and Slam Dunk Festival, various shows in the UK and supports with Against The Current and Rise Against, Yours Truly will also be joining I Prevail, Pierce The Veil and Fit For A King this September and October for an American tour. The band will embark on an extensive Australian headline tour kicking off in November. Before the quartet bounces off overseas, they’ll be sharing their stunning new release is this what i look like? with three limited stripped-back shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in early August.
“We couldn’t wait any longer to play some shows for our Australian friends and being home has made us miss you all so much,” shares the band, elated about the impending tour. “We’re playing three super small and intimate acoustic shows to celebrate the release of ‘is this what i look like?’ before we play full band shows at the end of the year. Hope to see you there“.
Joining Yours Truly for this acoustic tour will be none other than Sydney alt-punks Grenade Jumper. Also appearing at Unify Gathering earlier this year, Grenade Jumper has been making serious waves in the scene since first emerging back in 2018, with their 2020 track Heat Wave most recently blistering up speakers with its upbeat and infectious stylings.
