Teaming with Nick Thompson of Hit The Lights, the East Coast crew deliver a potent and heart-on-sleeve brand of pop-punk with ‘You Up?‘
The New Jersey pop-punk quintet Northvale have debuted their own brand of pop-punk with their single ‘You Up?’ taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, ‘Where We Go When There’s Nothing Left’ which set for release early next year.
Comprised of members of New Jersey bands The Victory and Mirror Eyes, as well as other local bands, Northvale came together in 2020 and quickly went about establishing a heart-on-sleeve, emotive brand of pop-punk that displays the quintessential energy of the genre, whilst delivering honest lyricism and melodic guitar work.
Joining forces with the likes of The Dangerous Summer‘s AJ Perdomo and In Her Own Words’ Joey Fleming, Northvale’s debut EP came as a cathartic, lockdown-busting collection, setting the tone for the band’s direction moving into 2021.
Their upcoming debut LP, ‘Where We Go When There’s Nothing Left’ deals with loss, heartbreak and acceptance; a relatable and engaging collection, preempted by a sparkling duo of singles; June’s ‘Good Intentions’ ft. Ollie Baxxter saw Northvale tackling the personal growth associated with moving past toxic environments.
“You Up?” ft. Nick Thompson is out now.
