The three-day Christmas-themed punk show will feature headline performances from the Chicago punks, plus a medley of support acts.
After an all-digital ‘War On X-Mas’ last year, The Lawrence Arms are back to host for the seventh year running. The Chicago punk rockers are here to bestow holiday cheer on all, and they’ve brought some of Chicago’s best punk bands to join the fun.
The three-day festival will take place at Chop Shop, a sustainable butcher, deli, bar, music venue, and Chicago institution. The Lawrence Arms will grace the stage each night from December 9th-11th with different support announced for each set. The line-up will include Direct Hit, Broadway Calls, Elway, Evil Empire, Catbite and The Muslims.
The Larence Arms have been a driving force of the Chicago punk movement since they formed in 1999 and show no signs of slowing down. With seven studio albums under their belt, their most recent release ‘Skeleton Coast‘ is packed full of stand-out tracks.
As well as proving their worth in the studio, the band have also built a reputation for their energetic and prolific live performances.
Tickets for ‘War on X-Mas’ are available now including a three-day pass for die-hard punk fans. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
