Along with The Bombpops, The Rumjacks are supporting Dropkick Murphy’s on their St. Patricks day tour across North America
Going from strength to strength The Rumjacks are back with a new single to tide you over until the release of their ‘Brass For Gold’ EP in February 2022. That same month also sees the lads begin their tour across the USA supporting Dropkick Murphy’s in what will be one hell of a riotous stretch of drinking, partying and rock’n’roll.
All this comes hot on the heels of a triumphant months-long tour of Europe, which ended last week and featured a week of completely sold-out shows in Poland.
The video for ‘Blood Soaked Chorus’ was directed by Mike Rivkees and has the band amongst their friends and fans singing, dancing and drinking. Just like the song, everyone is upbeat and having fun. Dispersed throughout the clip is shots of the band members looking cool on mopeds and some live footage. In the true nature of a lovesick songwriter, ‘Bloodsoaked in Chorus‘ is a ska anthem that is belted out with passion. Irish instruments replace the traditional horn section with the song perfectly blending two genres.
The Dropkick Murphys’ 2022 St. Patrick’s Day Tour of the U.S. kicks off on February 21 and runs through March 20th. Tickets for all shows are on sale now at www.DropkickMurphys.com
