Strung Out set to return with new album ‘Dead Rebellion’

Long-running punk rock band will release their 10th long-player in April.

Californian punk rock band Strung Out will soon put out their tenth album on Fat Wreck Chords and are trailing it with the blistering new track ‘Cages’.

Singer Jason Cruz said: “The song ‘Cages’ explores the self-imposed limitations that hold us back, like blame and self-victimisation. Only by eliminating these from the equation can true growth occur”.

Their new album ‘Dead Rebellion’ comes as the band, formed in Simi Valley in 1989 when Cruz was just 15, approaches the mid-point of their third decade with no signs of slowing down.

Cruz said: “’Dead Rebellion‘ is a love letter to our fans, and the product of a 34-year negotiation with ourselves and the world. It was written, performed, and produced with a deep conviction that none of this is in vain, and if you love something enough, it will always take care of you in the end.”
