Croatian led London five-piece proFESSional continue their assault on the airwaves with 3rd single ‘Madam G‘ – a Fontaines D.C. / Dead Kennedys style alt rock gem that explores themes of complicity & consequence, while acting as a means for the listener to process extremely uncomfortable truths about human nature, using Ghislaine Maxwell as a focal point. Lead vocalist Mani explains: “It’s easy to judge someone based on their isolated actions, but understanding a person deeply is far more difficult. Challenging the simplistic view of a modern women as either a victim or perpetrator, inviting us to reflect on the intricate factors that lead a person into morally questionable situations.” Watch out for an album coming from a band who are not afraid to tackle difficult subjects, dropping summer 2025!

Light of Eternity - Aftershock
Light of Eternity seek comfort in 'Aftershock'

Release Date: 18th December 2024
Record Label: L.O.E Records / Sentric Music

Light of Eternity—featuring Big Paul Ferguson of Killing Joke, Pauly Williams of Chaos 8, and Fred Schreck of The Ancients released their second four-track EP, ‘Aftershock‘ just before Christmas. Following the glowing reception of their debut EP, ‘Edge of Fate‘, the band continues to channel the raw energy of the times into a powerful new collection of songs. With the world in a state of political upheaval, the resurgence of popular unrest, and the creeping, unrelenting presence of AI into every facet of human life, uncertainty reigns supreme. But in chaos, there is creation. “Hard to be hopeful,” says Ferguson, “so music is where we find comfort and a reason to keep going.” Through these songs, Light of Eternity explore the fragility of humanity, the fleeting nature of time, and the universal search for meaning amidst upheaval.

The Dregs wait 45 years to record 'Inner City Kids'

Release Date: 23rd October 2024
Record Label: Self released

The Dregs are a Birmingham punk band initially formed in 1979. They played gigs around the Midlands, including the Cedar Club on the night of the Handsworth riots in 1981. Recording 2 demos before taking a break in 1982, they started gigging again in 1985 and recorded new tracks – some with a reggae-tinged feel – before taking an extended break in 1987. The original members started playing as a band again in 2015, recorded new songs and began gigging, including Rebellion Festival in 2018. Unbelievably, it’s taken them 45 years to record and release their first studio album, ‘Inner City Kids‘! Side 1 features eleven newly recorded studio tracks and the second bonus disc (CD only) covers the history of the band 1980 – 2018, including raw early demos and live tracks from the 1980s to their Rebellion set.

Ben Quad
Ben Quad rage against society with 'Ephemera'

Release Date: 25th October 2024
Record Label: Pure Noise Records

Latest EP release ‘Ephemera‘ is Oklahoma, USA, emo/indie/punks Ben Quad‘s momentary shift to a much more aggressive style than 2022’s ‘I’m Scared That’s All There Is‘. Lyrically, the EP focuses on subjects such as societal decay, anger with one’s environment, and directing that anger into action. Many of the songs are astute indictments of modern society and political establishments. The recording process was broken up by the band going on tour, which allowed for extra contemplation and consideration about what they were making. The result is a set of songs that combines the personal and the political to devastating effect. While there are still hints of their old songs contained within Ephemera, the band present a new iteration of their sound with added chemistry and confidence.

The Slugz
Cheeky punks The Slugz reckon 'We're All Gonna Die'

Release Date: 25th October 2024
Record Label: LANDMVRKS / Acrom Records

Founded in 2005 between the cities of Cannes and Lyon in France, The Slugz are a punk-rock four-piece evolving in the same playground than bands such as Blink 182, Four Year Strong, New Found Glory or Sum 41. After releasing two albums in 2007 and 2010 (‘Headcache‘ and then ‘Unbreakable‘), the band remained silent for a few years before getting back into action with new songs in 2023. Latest single ‘We’re All Gonna Die‘ is the third track from The Slugz new EP ‘Snyder’s Cut‘, recorded and mixed by Florent Salfati from LANDMVRKS. We await news of a release date. With the music video for ‘We’re All Gonna Die’, they imagined what the last night of a wild group of friends might look like before the world ends. It’s cheeky and a bit gory, the quirky vision of a generation inspired by Project X and American Pie!
