The UK-based punks have just unleahsed a brand new single and video via their new label Rude Records.
Delair The Liar has dropped their follow-up to recent singles’ Furnace’ and ‘Halloween’. Speaking about the new song ‘No Thanks’, the band said that they believe there’s a conflict of interest in offering help to the people you love.
“It can be distracting, yet it can bring assurance that you are still of value to the relationships you care so much about, that you can still contribute positively irrespective of your own wellbeing,” the band says.
“It can also be dangerous and frightening to know that the people you love will put everything they have on the line for you.”
Music, at its best, opens the door to an honesty that borders on alarming. For the London four-piece Delaire The Liar, expressing a central truth is at the core of all they create.
Utilising a weaponised punk rock attitude that feeds into a visceral delivery and live performance, married with fragility and earnestness that extends a welcoming hand to the listener, Delaire The Liar are set to explore the nuances of human emotion and response.
With their melodic power punk brand, the band has attracted international praise with the last singles, indicating big things to come.
You can catch the band live in the UK this month.
