UK Punk rockers Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes are about to release their new album Sticky with a UK and European tour to follow.
Following their headlining spot for June’s UK’s Download Pilot, the band will hit the ground running with a new single, album and tour. The announcement of their fourth album Sticky coincides with the release of their new single, the albums title track. The latest track Sticky follows on from the dynamic single My Town, a punk duet with Idles frontman Joe Talbot.
The new single bursts with typical Rattlesnakes energy building up momentum for the album release. Carter commented, “Sticky is about that moment where you’re drunk at a bus stop at 3 AM. You know there are no more buses, but you sit there anyway because you’re too fucked to figure out your options. Your kebab is on the floor, there’s a Stella in your pocket, and you’re woken up by a dirty little fox eating your shoes.”
The album is due out on October 15 and features guests Lynks, IDLES’ Joe Talbot (on My Town), Cassyette and Bobby Gillespie. Sticky (the album) is produced by guitarist Dean Richardson.
Frank recently said of the new album: ?“Someone described it to me as ?‘they felt their youth’ when they were listening to the record. When you make albums, those are the ones you want to make. Nostalgic, but classic. Timeless, and also modern.” The album is produced by guitarist Dean Richardson.
Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes kick off their tour in September in Glasgow. The mammoth event will continue throughout the UK and Europe finishing up in February 2022 at Munich Backstage Werk in Germany.

Everyone should have a soundtrack playing loudly in the background of their life. I was born moshing to my own beat and have never swayed from my love of music. Spreading my passion through the written word is my soul’s purpose. My punk heart beats loudly with the rhythm of my rock soul. I plan to continue to mosh like no one gives a shit.
