The celebrated UK punk rockers have dropped their latest single Go Get A Tattoo featuring Lynks.
The latest track is the next offering from their forthcoming album Sticky, out Friday, October 15th via AWAL Recordings. Frank Carter’s love of body art is public knowledge, with the new single, Go Get A Tattoo, an obvious ode to Carter’s other love, inking his bod! The heavily tattooed punk rocker, owns his own east London tattoo shop, Rose of Mercy. However, like so many other small businesses, the shop has suffered due to the global pandemic closing doors.
“This song is a love letter to tattooing and how it’s made me feel over the years,” shares Carter. “Without tattooing, I wouldn’t be the person I am. It gives me a way to get closer to friends, family and fans, and provides intimate connections with people to create memories that can last lifetimes. I signed the lease for my first ever tattoo shop, Rose of Mercy, on March 1, 2020. Within three weeks, we were closed and I had no idea when we were going to open.
“I’m not sure if I ever truly took tattooing for granted (I’d like to think I’ve always had respect for it), but I do know that I won’t ever take it for granted in the future. When this global pandemic is over, I will be travelling more and tattooing constantly as it’s a gift and should be shared. So, if you are stuck in a rut, or you need to mark a big moment, or you fancy a permanent change, or you just want to look cooler, look for the rose.”
Go Get A Tattoo follows two previous singles, My Town feat. Joe Talbot and the forthcoming album title track, Sticky. The new track features enigmatic artist Lynks (formerly Lynks Afrikka).
The previous Gallows and Pure Love frontman, has become a critical spokesperson within the UK music scene. Carter represents the pure essence of punk rock rallying against injustice, the patriarchy, right-wing politics and toxic masculinity. Sticky is produced by The Rattlesnakes co-founder Dean Richardson. With the band’s style of punk music, unafraid to embrace different genre’s and influences this pairing could be one of the most crucial partnerships in punk rock today.
Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes are heading out on the road, touring across the UK in support of the release of Sticky. The tour expands into a full European outing in early 2022. Get your Live Tour tickets HERE.

Everyone should have a soundtrack playing loudly in the background of their life. I was born moshing to my own beat and have never swayed from my love of music. Spreading my passion through the written word is my soul’s purpose. My punk heart beats loudly with the rhythm of my rock soul. I plan to continue to mosh like no one gives a shit.
