London DIY punk riot grrrl band Dream Nails plan new Livestream for Christmas

Still waiting for live gigs to resume? Yeah, us too. If we can pick out one positive of this whole global-pandemic-disrupting-the-arts situation, then maybe we can consider some of the innovative ways bands and artists have stayed engaging with their fans.

The internet has obviously played a huge part in this, and live-streamed gigs have been gaining traction over the last 6 months, but few have utilised the remote gig idea as much as punk band Dream Nails.

All things considered, 2020 has been a pretty good year for the London-based punk quartet, and that’s down to their own efforts to continue creating quality content and ideas for their fan base.

In September, the band performed via Livestream for their Gig In A Box event which saw a box of goodies delivered to fans to enjoy during the event.

Following the success of this endeavour, they are gonna do it again! This time their show will be on 6th December 2020 and titled Feministmas, and the boxes are up for grabs again! The contents are kept secret up until the show, but the band have assured us via their Instagram posts that fans will not be disappointed!

During the show, there will also be access to their virtual merch table (Gig In A Box recipients will get first access to this) and an auctioning of the last copy of their limited run Vagina Police vinyl to raise funds for Abortion Support Network.

Dream Nails’ self-titled debut album was released this year on Alcopop Records and is available now.
