Los Angeles grunge-punk powerhouse Tarah Who? has released their latest music offering, Swallow That Pill.
The US-based, duo fronted by French-born Tarah G. Carpenter, is known for writing emotionally charged and thought-provoking songs. Latest track Swallow That Pill is no exception.
Carpenter says about Swallow That Pill; “We have all been told at least once in our lives that we have to “face the music” or that we don’t have a choice. However, every decision that we make is a choice. You may not like the outcome, but whatever experience you go through in your life, it is your decision to make to keep doing it or to quit.”
Tarah Who? is Carpenter on guitar and vocals, with Corale Hervé, on drums and backing vocals. Their dynamic sound is fuelled by emotionally charged lyrics, producing songs that combine the sombre epitome of grunge infused with up close and personal raw punk rock.
Discovering a passion for drums at the age of 14, Carpenter progressed her passion for music from there, mastering guitar and bass. Combine her musicals skill with emotively melodic vocal and songs written straight from the heart, and you get a sound dripping with talent and soul.
Moving to the U.S to further her music career, Tarah found herself playing solo gigs around L.A. She decided putting a band together would enhance her sound and bring out her musical vision in it’s truest form. Hervé came together, and they started the journey of Tarah Who?
Tarah Who?’s punk attitude rings through loud through their music and this new single perfectly encapsulates their unique fusion. Bringing punk, rock, alternative and grunge together creates something that will blast their way into your favourites list.
Swallow That Pill was produced by Jason Orme and Tarah Carpenter. The video was shot by Erica Torres.

Everyone should have a soundtrack playing loudly in the background of their life. I was born moshing to my own beat and have never swayed from my love of music. Spreading my passion through the written word is my soul’s purpose. My punk heart beats loudly with the rhythm of my rock soul. I plan to continue to mosh like no one gives a shit.
