Billy Talent and Agent Orange join NOFX and more at ‘Slam Dunk Festival’ 2021

As reported in Punktuation in July, one of the UK’s favourite punk, hardcore and alternative rock festival – Slam Dunk, will be back next year with many artists originally booked for the cancelled 2020 shows returning. Latest additions include punk rock favourites Billy Talent and hardcore punk’s Agent Orange.

They join a quickly growing list of punk rock royalty including The Vandals, NOFX, Sum 41, Pennywise and the world’s most famous cover band, supergroup Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

The festival organisers have gone out of their way to reschedule as many of the 2020 line-up as possible. Returning acts include While She Sleeps, Bury Tomorrow, State Champs, The Used, The Story So Far, 3OH!3, The Wonder Years and Motion City Soundtrack.

In a recent statement posted on the website, SlamDunk Festival announced: “We are very pleased to confirm the final list of artists who were due to play SDF20 and who are able to come back to play SDF21 for you. As the vast majority have kept hold of your tickets for next year it seemed only right to try to bring back as many SDF20 artists as we could. If they were due to play 2020 and they are not on the poster, this means they are unfortunately not able to play at SDF21. We will be announcing new artists in the coming months.

2020 tickets remain valid for the 2021 incarnation of the festival.

Slam Dunk will take place on two dates next year- 29th May 2021 at Leeds Temple Newsam and 30th May 2021 at Hatfield Park.
