With their debut EP on the horizon, Noah and the Loners latest single is their most powerful yet!
Punk’s Not Dead – the new generation has a lot to say and they’re saying it loud! Brighton based Noah and the Loners today release ‘Crash Landing‘, a furious tirade about the current state of the UK – and it is in a state.
Frontman Noah Lonergan says; “This track came to us organically when we were staying at Joseph’s (lead guitarist) house during the summer of 2022. We had not intended to write or rehearse anything, as we were taking some time off from the outside world. However, a moment of inspiration from Joseph, with the opening riff – our growing frustration with the UK government’s incompetence and hypocrisy inspired this social commentary on the state of politics in the UK today – led to the creation of ‘Crash Landing,’ complete with lyrics in no time at all.”
Noah and the Loners are fronted by 19 year old singer songwriter Noah Lonergan on vocals and guitar, with Amber Welsh on bass, Joseph Boyle on guitar and Noah Riley on drums. The youngest ever band signing to Marshall Records, they have spent the last two years writing, recording and playing live, to immense acclaim.
We’re eagerly awaiting the release of Noah and the Loners debut EP ‘A Desolate Warning‘ on 28th February 2024, produced by Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Milk Teeth, Boston Manor). Previous single ‘Hell Of A Day‘ is included, along with ‘Crash Landing‘, ‘Just Kids‘, ‘Losing My Head‘ and my favourite ‘You Make Me (Fall Apart)‘. Pre-save the EP HERE
The band are heading to Spain later this month for the first time, followed by a run of UK tour dates in February and two in Germany in March – see dates below, and get your tickets HERE These guys are absolutely excellent live, so don’t miss ’em!
“Get Parliament burning”, and also the newspapers (as seen in the video) sends a firm message that Noah and the Loners have had enough of the hypocrisy of both politicians and the media!
We’ll leave the last words to Noah; “I don’t see the point of writing a song if you’re not saying anything, and I don’t think we’d be the band we are if the music wasn’t so personal.”

Songs like ‘What’s Behind The Sun’ and ‘Affected Kid’ are proof that Spleen are already masters of the quiet-loud dynamic that was (yes!) grunge’s hallmark

Live review: Grade 2 / Pickled Dick / Everyone Lies at the Boileroom, Guildford 2/12/24
Marvellous Punk music made Monday night a fun night – Grade 2’s end-of-year tour is a must-see! First support are Southampton’s excellent SkatePunk band Everyone
Usually found jumping around down the front at gigs, I also relish taking photos and videos, singing, speaking with fellow music fans, and asking musicians the questions nobody else does. Writing about my favourite bands and connecting with people who love music too keeps me more-or-less sane! I’ve worked for over 25 years at a video production company, mainly filming live music events, therefore I have an additional backstage perspective on the scene.
