The kings of irreverence and tongue in cheek DIY proudly release their brand new single and video Reboot Me.
The Melbies ‘Reboot Me‘ finds the band in their best form yet. The new release is an up-tempo, in your face punk song about the grind of life getting you down and the weekly cycle of all work and no play.
‘Reboot Me is intentionally repetitive to mirror the monotony and cyclic nature of the nine to five, with a short, sharp, explosive chorus representing the weekend.’ exclaim the band.
The Melbies is made up of original members Daniel Drew on guitar and vocals and Sam McNamara on bass. With the powerhouse that is James Nesbitt having joined on drums, the UK punks have been set free. Their sound is all about amping up the fun and creativity whilst sticking true to their power riff roots.
‘We’re done licking our wounds from the pandemic. We’re now back performing, writing new music and supporting the scene of local bands around us.’ The band commented.
The Melbies have recently supported The Wildhearts and will play a series of dates including special guest support for The Vibrators.
