Think of punk rock, and Vienna, Austria probably isn’t the first place that springs to mind! However, the punk scene there is well and truly alive and kicking – thanks in part to the brilliant Deecracks!
The band have been together since 2003, they’ve played nearly 1,000 shows, gone through more bass players than Trump’s filed lawsuits (10 bass players at the last count) and they’ve toured Japan, China, Russia, Canada, Mexico and the USA!
After the release of their previous LP Sonic Delusions DeeCracks toured with the legendary CJ Ramone for a whole month throughout Europe and also played festivals like Punk In Drublic, Brakrock or Pouzza Fest amongst others – so they have, without a doubt, worked hard to earn their punk stripes!
Their latest LP “Serious Issues is due to be released on March 12th via Pirates Press Records (whose roster boasts bands like Rancid, Cock Sparrer, and The Bouncing Souls) will, according to the band’s press release, give what fans of the hard-working DeeCracks appreciate so much: “16 tracks of fast punk rock with haunting melodies and singalongs.”

The pandemic may have slowed the band down a bit like everyone else, but DeeCracks have remained very busy behind the scenes and their fans can look forward to a whole series of music videos and live studio recordings in the coming months!
