New Zealand London-based band announce new mini-album and drop a brilliant new single
Written and recorded in-between lockdowns in 2020, New Zealand born but London-based punks Desperate Measures drop a new video. It’s called The Rich-Tual, and you can see and hear it in all it’s brilliant glory here.
It’s taken from the band’s forthcoming mini-album, due this summer on the Easy Action label, labelmates include Brian James from the Damned, Iggy and the Stooges, Lords of the New Church and, er, Marc Bolan and T-Rex.
The Rich-Tual is billed as “a bullet of classic punk reloaded for the pandemic generation that rips from the speakers screaming ‘fuck the system, before the system fucks you!”
What’s not to like?
The video is also featured this coming Saturday (February 20) as part of the online global music festival ‘Vive Le Rockdown 2’ on Vive Le Rock’s YouTube channel, starting at 8.30 pm. Don’t miss it!
Desperate Measures are:
